A nautical charting GPS is a device that, if you decide to sail more than 6 miles beyond the coast, is required by law. Even in the case of less distant navigation, however, it is strongly recommended to have a nautical charting GPS on board, which can help you in marine orientation. Thanks to this tool, in fact, you will, among other things, have the ability to obtain the precise coordinates of your navigation route and to know the exact time of arrival at a point on the route while maintaining a certain speed.
