Gas spring pistons ensure that our portlights and other hatches remain open. Using gases such as nitrogen, gas springs counterbalance the weight of the hatch and prevent it from closing inadvertently. The gas spring piston supports the dynamic part, allowing you to access the hatches on your vessel's deck in complete safety, without the risk of finding a "barred window."
