Description
The Mastervolt AC Master 12/300 delivers 230 V 50 Hz AC on board from a 12 V battery bank, with a pure sine wave suitable for sensitive electronics, battery chargers and small appliances. Continuous power is 300 W at 25°C, derating to 250 W above 40°C—an important consideration for installs in engine rooms or warm lockers. A 600 W peak for 5 seconds handles inrush currents at start‑up.
High‑frequency galvanic isolation between input and output protects the onboard system from interference between the DC side and the AC side. 90% efficiency reduces conversion losses, while the energy‑saving mode keeps idle consumption to 4 W. Protections against over‑temperature, overload, short circuit and abnormal battery voltage—with defined shutdown and restart thresholds—ensure safe operation even under varying loads. Vertical wall mount with IP23 protection rating; minimum recommended battery capacity 60 Ah.
