Description
Delivering a continuous 2500 W pure sine wave output, the Mastervolt AC Master 12/2500 converts 12 V battery power to 230/240 V at 50/60 Hz, covering onboard needs for recreational and semi-professional applications: lighting, electric cooking, power tools and small appliances. Declared efficiency is 88%. Dimensions 283x436x128 mm and weight 8 kg; consider these when choosing the installation compartment.
At its core is high-frequency technology with galvanic isolation between input and output, protecting onboard systems from unwanted leakage. Automatic transfer from inverter to shore/genset completes in 8–10 ms, and from shore/genset to inverter in 16–50 ms. Operating range is -20°C to 60°C, with power derating above 40°C. IP21 protection rating with horizontal mounting; install in a protected location.
Installation requires batteries of at least 270 Ah, 95 mm² DC cables and a 300 A slow-blow fuse. The system supports parallel configurations up to 15 units or three-phase with 3 units. MasterBus compatibility is available by adding the AC Master Interface.
