General features

The AC Master 24/500 is a Mastervolt pure sine wave inverter designed to convert 24 V battery power to 230 V 50 Hz mains, with frequency stability of ±0.1%. It delivers 500 W continuously at 25 °C (400 W at 40 °C) and a peak power of 800 W for 5 seconds, sufficient to handle start-up loads. Its low weight of 1.22 kg and compact size (210 x 130 x 60 mm) make bulkhead mounting easy in confined spaces.

Waveform technology and quality

The pure sine wave output, generated with high‑frequency technology, makes this inverter compatible with any sensitive equipment: appliances, power tools, cooking devices and lighting. Inputs and outputs are fully galvanically isolated, eliminating interference risks and protecting both batteries and connected loads. 91% efficiency reduces onboard consumption, while the energy‑saving mode lowers idle draw to just 4 W.

Protection and reliability

The AC Master 24/500 integrates a full suite of automatic protections:

  • over‑temperature (shutdown at 50 °C)
  • overload and short circuit
  • high battery voltage (shutdown at 32 V) and low battery voltage (shutdown at 20 V)
IP23 ingress protection ensures resistance to water spray in marine environments. The LED display with 4 alarm modes enables immediate monitoring of operating status. A 1.5 m DC cable is supplied as standard; the recommended DC fuse is 40 A slow‑blow.

Installation and certifications

AC connection is via a universal IEC socket included in the package. The inverter is approved to CE, E‑mark, ABYC A‑31 and EU DoC, in line with international standards for marine use. Suitable for a wide range of recreational and semi‑professional applications on boats, motorhomes and vehicles.
