The RBX-107B hub kit is a drivetrain component for Honda outboard engines rated from 75 to 130 HP. The kit includes the elements required to correctly mate the propeller to the propshaft, ensuring efficient transmission of torque.
Function and protection
The hub performs a critical mechanical role: it transfers rotation from the shaft to the propeller and, thanks to the integrated rubber shock-absorbing element, it absorbs impact loads in the event of a strike on submerged objects. This protects both the driveshaft and the lower unit gearcase from costly structural damage.
