The IC-M510E EVO is a multifunction fixed-mount marine VHF with a modern design, featuring Class D DSC and innovative smartphone remote control technology. It delivers essential safety communications at sea and is designed for recreational craft, fishing boats, sailing, as well as rescue and public safety use.

The NMEA 2000™ network enables plug-and-play communication with other marine electronics, such as MFDs (Multi-Function Displays). The radio can share GNSS position data, AIS*¹ information, DSC calls and channel data.
The integrated 25 W two-way Hailer and 20 W RX Hailer allow communication with crew on deck or ashore, and can output foghorn signals through an external speaker.

With the RS-M500 app for iOS™ and Android™, the IC-M510E EVO can be controlled over Wi‑Fi®. Up to three smart devices can be used as a wireless microphone or as a remote for key functions.
The radio can be operated from anywhere on board, enabling calls while working below deck or on deck. An intercom function is also available between smartphones, CommandMic™ and the main unit.
The IC-M510E (including the EVO version) received the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2022. It supports both flush mount and bracket mount, integrating seamlessly into modern helm stations, including black glass cockpit layouts.
The color TFT display offers an almost 180° viewing angle, with high-resolution characters and crisp icons. Press and hold the DISP key to activate Night mode for improved readability in low light.
The integrated Class D DSC system, via the DISTRESS key, enables immediate transmission of a digital distress alert to the Coast Guard and nearby vessels. The DSC Watch function continuously monitors channel 70 for ongoing safety.
The built-in waterproof 15 W speaker delivers strong, intelligible audio, improving clarity even in noisy marine environments.
With the integrated AIS receiver*¹ or via NMEA sentences from an external device*², the IC-M510E EVO displays live AIS traffic on screen. You can place individual DSC calls directly to selected AIS targets.
