Class D DSC marine VHF with remote control from smart devices
The IC-M510E EVO is a multifunction fixed-mount marine VHF transceiver with a modern design, featuring Class D DSC and innovative smartphone remote control technology. It provides essential safety communications at sea and is ideal for leisure craft, fishing boats, sailing, as well as for rescue and public safety applications.
Integration with NMEA 2000™, the 25 W bidirectional Hailer / RX Hailer functions, the color display and navigation features make onboard operation even more complete. Its elegant design was recognized with the iF DESIGN AWARD.
Built-in NMEA 2000™ and 25 W bidirectional Hailer
The NMEA 2000™ network enables plug-and-play communication with other marine electronics, such as MFDs (Multi-Function Displays). The radio can share GNSS position data, AIS*¹ information, DSC calls and channel data.
The integrated 25 W bidirectional Hailer and 20 W RX Hailer allow communication with crew on deck or ashore, as well as emission of foghorn signals via an external speaker.
*¹ The AIS receiver may not be included, depending on the transceiver version.
Radio control and intercom via smartphone
Using the RS-M500 app for iOS™ and Android™, the IC-M510E EVO can be controlled over Wi‑Fi®. Up to three smart devices can be used as a wireless microphone or as a remote for key functions.
The radio can be operated from anywhere on board, allowing calls while working below deck or on deck. An intercom function is also available between smartphones, CommandMic™ and the main unit.
Wide-view color TFT display
The color TFT display offers an almost 180° viewing angle, with high‑resolution characters and crisp icons. Holding the DISP key activates Night mode, improving legibility in low‑light conditions.
Built-in Class D DSC with Distress button
The integrated Class D DSC system enables immediate transmission of a digital distress alert to the Coast Guard and nearby vessels via the DISTRESS button. The DSC Watch function continuously monitors channel 70 for ongoing safety.
Loud and clear 15 W audio
The internal waterproof 15 W speaker delivers strong, intelligible audio, improving communications even in noisy marine environments.
