The Tohatsu 25hp 4 Stroke engine offers an excellent power-to-weight ratio, providing superior performance on a wide range of boats, from the lightest to the heaviest. With a compact and lightweight design, it is the most versatile 25hp engine in its class, thanks to its 3-cylinder configuration.

This engine is available in several variations, including models with a short or long shaft, manual or electric start, and several drive options, including tiller or remote control. It also features trim and tilt adjustment on some models for an optimal sailing experience.

The Tohatsu 25hp is designed to offer high performance and ease of operation. The optimized gear ratio of 2.17:1 provides increased torque at low rpm, allowing a higher pitch propeller to be fitted for excellent performance at high speeds.

Advanced features include a battery-free EFI system, a digital CD ignition system that enables quick starts, and a 17.5-amp high-efficiency alternator that provides stable power. Steering friction adjustment and a flap reduce steering effort, while minimum speed and trolling speed are easily adjusted via the remote control or multifunction bar.

For maintenance and protection, the Tohatsu 25hp offers a built-in freshwater flushing system, a clear fuel filter with float indicator, and a through-the-propeller exhaust system for quieter sailing. The engine is built with marine aluminum alloys and stainless steel for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance.

The engine also features an overheat and low oil pressure warning, and a safety lanyard, an essential protection feature on all Tohatsu outboards. The rev limiter and run-start protection ensure safe engine starting.
