The operational brain
The operating system is hidden in an anchor buoy connected to the relevant control unit placed on your boat, giving you complete monitoring of the situation. All you need to do is connect the control unit to your smartphone via Bluetooth. In case of a low battery or lost smartphone, any alarm signals will be emitted directly from the control unit.

At what depth can I anchor?
VisionAnchor has a 25 m (65 ft) top. Considering waves and tides, the maximum allowable depth for the VisionAnchor S system is 20 m (65 ft).
How long does the battery last?
The battery has a battery life of 48 hours, allowing you to anchor safely for two days. You can always easily recharge the buoy with the included wireless charger that connects to its control unit on the boat.
How can I attach the buoy to my anchor?
A standard D-shackle for attaching the buoy line is included. VisionAnchor S attaches to the crown of the anchor, not where the anchor chain normally attaches. For Rocna-type anchors, it can also be attached to the roll bar. If you have any doubts, please feel free to send us a photo of your anchor so that we can show you the best technique.
What happens if I lose my smartphone or the battery dies?
The VisionAnchor buoy works even when there is no connection and is always able to send an alarm signal. Once the alarm radius of the anchor is set in the app, the buoy maintains the connection with its control unit even when the smartphone is disconnected. Therefore, it will continue to sound an audible alarm whenever the anchor moves outside the set range.
Why is it better than my anchor alarm or GPS?
The key difference is that traditional anchor alarms track the position of the boat, not the actual position of the anchor. So you could move far inside the set perimeter and not get an alarm. Then, once you move out of range, it is already too late.
