This is our new SGS8, complete sW500 coating. The reel is saltwater resistant in other ways as well, including its its 9 + 1 sealed steel ball bearings, the clutch system is sealed, and the lightweight and durable aluminum body, carbon-reinforced composite rotor. However, being able to able to withstand continuous saltwater attacks is not the only quality of this reel.
