The binoculars feature light-gathering roof prisms and four-element eyepieces that increase image sharpness and contrast. All optical elements are made of extra-low dispersion ED glass that minimizes optical aberrations and provides true color rendition. The outer lenses are protected by several layers of anti-reflective coating.

The body of the binoculars is made of impact-proof, temperature-resistant and anti-slip plastic. The binoculars are filled with nitrogen, a gas that prevents fogging of the lenses. The hermetic design is not penetrated by water-these binoculars survive immersion in water to a depth of 1.5 m for no more than three minutes. They require little maintenance, withstand temperature changes and are resistant to rain, snow and mud.

Levenhuk Vegas ED 12x50 binoculars are adaptable to a standard 1/4" tripod.
