Description
Raymarine mechanical linear actuators, the most widely used for sailboats, are powerful, quiet, and offer optimal rudder movement speed. Mounted below deck, they move the rudder shaft directly by acting on the dedicated arm (recommended installation) or on the rudder post. The linear actuator connects to the rudder shaft via an independent arm. You may need to request additional installation accessories from your steering system manufacturer. The steering system must be capable of being feedback-controlled from the rudder.
