Description

The included transducer splash guard reduces excess water splashing on the compatible transducer when the boat is sailing at high speed

With this mount, it is also possible to install the transducer on the boat's aft frame and allow for adjustment of the transducer angle so that it is parallel with the water surface and avoid dragging. Since the transducer is not submerged in water with this installation, the sounder does not detect the bottom when the boat is level.
