• Magnification
  The magnification coefficient of the image is indicated by the first number. Ex: For 7x50 models, the observed object appears 7 times larger than with the naked eye. The 7x magnification is recommended for use at sea.
• Optical diameter
  Indicated by the second number, it is the diameter of the objective lens expressed in mm. The larger it is, the more light penetrates the binoculars. For more comfortable holding, a diameter of 50 is the maximum recommended at sea.
• Angleof view
  Degrees the width of the area observed at a distance of 1000 m. The higher the magnification coefficient, the narrower the field angle.
