Thicker plates increase reserve capacity and extend service life in demanding operating conditions. Exmet expanded-metal grids, made from a Lead-Calcium alloy, provide superior corrosion resistance compared to conventional pure lead grids. Exide’s patented labyrinth lid controls acid reflux and prevents leakage, while the double heat-sealed cover ensures a fully sealed case. The battery is completely maintenance-free and can be installed at an angle of up to 60°, offering greater flexibility for onboard placement.

The Exide Premium range is designed for engine starting on boats with high electrical loads and intensive starter-motor use, where performance must remain consistent even at elevated temperatures.
