Communication and safety on board

Fixed-mount marine VHF transceiver engineered for reliable communications and maximum safety on board, featuring integrated AIS, Class D DSC and GNSS receiver. It supports standard VHF voice communications and AIS target display, ideal for monitoring surrounding maritime traffic.

The DSC system enables sending and receiving digital safety calls, while the integrated GNSS provides position data required for emergency functions. Designed for fixed installations on both leisure and professional vessels, it must be correctly integrated with the onboard network and programmed with the MMSI code in accordance with current regulations.

Intuitive user interface

A combination of directional keys, function keys and a 10-key numeric keypad ensures straightforward, immediate operation. The most frequently used functions are assigned to the soft keys below the display for quick access to channels, MMSI numbers and IDs.

The IC-M605EURO delivers dependable communications even in challenging conditions: weak signals adjacent to strong ones are received clearly thanks to commercial-grade performance, with selectivity and IMD exceeding 75 dB.

Active noise cancelling technology

Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) digitally reduces background noise on both transmit and receive, improving intelligibility even in noisy marine environments.

Last call voice recording

The automatic recording function stores up to 2 minutes of the last received call, allowing you to replay key messages and avoid missing critical communications.

Private conversations

With the optional UT-112 unit, the IC-M605EURO supports a 32-tone voice scrambler, ideal for secure communications between vessels in the same group.

Loud, crystal-clear audio

The waterproof internal speaker delivers clear, powerful, well-balanced audio. The optimised frequency response enhances call intelligibility even in high-noise conditions.

Integrated GNSS receiver

The multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS, GLONASS and SBAS) is built into the unit. Position data are acquired by connecting the supplied GNSS antenna with 5 m (UX-241) cable.

30 W two-way hailer and foghorn

By connecting the optional SP-37 speaker, you can communicate with crew on deck or ashore via the two-way Hailer function. RX Hailer is also available, along with four automatic foghorn modes.

NMEA 2000™ and NMEA 0183/-HS connectivity

NMEA 2000™ connectivity enables exchange of GNSS, AIS, DSC, radio frequency and PGN information over the onboard network. NMEA 0183/-HS position data can be converted to NMEA 2000™ for compatibility with other equipment.
