Description
The IC-M94DE represents the top of the line among Icom's portable marine two-way radios, combining safety and advanced performance. It integrates an AIS receiver that displays maritime traffic information directly on the display, enabling it to monitor surrounding vessels. The Class H DSC function enables quick emergency calls via the Distress button located on the back of the device. With 6 W transmission power, the IC-M94DE ensures long-range communications, while the high-capacity 2400 mAh lithium battery provides up to 10 hours of continuous use under normal conditions. The built-in 1500 mW speaker ensures powerful and clear audio, ideal for noisy maritime environments. The simplified navigation function allows up to 50 waypoints to be set, making it easy to reach favorite destinations or fishing spots. In the event of a fall in water, the Float'n Flash function floats the device, activating a flashing light on the display, buttons and Distress button for easy recovery. Pressing the Distress button during Float'n Flash transmits a man overboard (MOB) signal for immediate response. Other features include a built-in GPS receiver, active noise cancellation technology, IPX7 water resistance, Dualwatch and Tri-watch functions, and AquaQuake™ technology that prevents audio degradation caused by water in the speaker.
