The wired masthead wind transducer provides accurate measurement of relative wind speed and direction. When combined with other sensors such as boat speed and compass, the masthead transducer provides the wind information needed to calculate true wind speed, true heading, and many other advanced data. Available in two lengths, the 300 mm short arm version is the perfect choice for sailboats or powerboats. High-performance sailboats may prefer the 600 mm long arm version, where the transducer is further from the updraft of the boat's sails for greater accuracy.
