Description
Having the right tool for the job makes the job easier and provides better results. The right tool to cover deep-water fishing locations for swordfish, tuna and other species is a 2 to 3 kW, low to medium frequency transducer. The Chirp-ready R599LM offers the deep-water performance of the low frequency up to 3048 m (10000') in addition to the detailed returns produced by the narrower mid-band beams. Chirp technology shows 5 to 10 times more detail and resolution than conventional frequencies. The R599LM transmits across the low-frequency bandwidth from 28 to 60 kHz and the mid-band frequency from 80 to 130 kHz. This transducer provides up to 82 kHz total bandwidth in a single installation. The transducer is installed in the included tank, cut to the deadrise angle of the vessel, and fixed inside the hull. When the transducer is placed inside the tank, it is properly oriented for optimal performance. The R599LM is a popular choice for customers who do not wish to drill a hole in the hull and for towed or multihull boats.
