Description
Raymarine B175 low-profile, CHIRP-ready transducers are designed for high-speed applications like center consoles. The B165 can be used alone or paired with Raymarine CHIRP sonar. The B175L transducer has up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth and transmits on the 40 to 60 kHz bands. The CHIRP low-frequency band is a deep-water performer, offering excellent coverage and tracking. The B175M CHIRP mid-frequency version operates at a frequency range of 85 to 135 kHz. The B175M detects fish at medium depths up to 457 m (1,500 ft) and offers ultra-clear target resolution. The B175H transducer, a high-frequency CHIRP transducer, offers a narrow beamwidth, excellent for locating fish near wrecks and reefs. The high frequency provides excellent separation between bait fish and target fish. The B175H has up to 80 kHz of total bandwidth for superior shallow water performance and bottom detail. The B175H is a high-frequency, wide-beam transducer that operates in a frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz with a fixed 25° beam angle. The wide beam provides twice the coverage and excellent fish arches compared to narrow-beam transducers. B175HW CHIRP transducers are ideal for coastal and offshore fishing, offering excellent resolution and maximum coverage up to 152 m (500'). All B175 series transducers use a tilted element. The ceramic element is fixed inside the housing at an angle of 20°, 12°, or 0°. The tilted element corrects for the hull angle and steers the sonar beam for maximum echo return. When used individually, the B175 transducer must be installed using a single transducer run cable, part number A80328. When installed in pairs, connect the B175 transducers using a transducer Y-cable, part number A012146.
