The Sardamatic sardine grinder is an automatic machine that slowly grinds sardines or other groundbait fish directly overboard. The visible trail of freshly ground fish it produces is constantly composed of small pieces, pulp, and blood, the latter essential for attracting fish, including by smell. It's the ideal machine for very successful light drifting for bonito, mackerel, horse mackerel, and tuna in general. Excellent for attracting snapper and black sea bream to the surface, it's also widely used for "power chumming," the new fast trolling technique that involves consistently following a figure-eight trail while simultaneously baiting with ground sardines.
