Protective Teak Wonder Dressing & Sealer

A teak, even if new, is subject to rapid aging if it is not washed daily with fresh water or if an appropriate protective product is not used.

Most teak protectants on the market are oil-based impregnants that have several drawbacks: they darken teak, absorb dust and dirt, surface with heat (making the deck greasy and slippery), and stain clothing.

Special components in TEAK WONDER® DRESSING & SEALER tend to seal the pores of the wood, hindering the penetration of dust and dirt, and protect teak oils from ultraviolet rays, slowing oxidation and discoloration. The treatment counteracts the penetration of liquids such as diesel, oil, fish blood, and varnish into the wood, which, if not allowed to dry, can be easily removed. The TEAK WONDER® DRESSING & SEALER does not stink, does not make teak shiny and/or slippery, is not sticky and dries quickly, does not darken the surface or build up

For best treatment, it is recommended that two of coats be given (with generous brush strokes) on new or freshly treated teak with TEAK WONDER® CLEANER and TEAK WONDER® BRIGHTENER, but perfectly dry, and a subsequent coat after 8-12 weeks, without repeating the cleaning treatment. The product should be mixed thoroughly before use. Wipe off any runs on nonteak surfaces.
