This small, technologically advanced shrimp represents the link between the representation of nature and the artificial reconstruction of what most attracts the predators that feed on it. Anyone can imitate reality, but few can understand its essence and artificially reproduce the fundamental characteristics that make a soft bait irresistible. The ringed body allows for perfect rigging, making it snag-proof and facilitating the release of the hook. The thin wings on the sides reproduce the vibrations that would naturally be emitted by the legs and also contribute to the lure's balance during jerky retrieval. The ShrimpU is most effective when paused during the fall and stationary on the bottom, to be used weightless in stop-and-go retrievals, where any turbulence is enough to activate the entire lure. Perfect in the shaky head version, it also maintains its attractive power when presented with the Texas rig and drop shot. Available in three sizes (2", 3", 4") and a variety of colors, it can be used successfully in both saltwater and freshwater. The tail has a more or less triangular shape that follows a fairly regular sinusoidal trajectory when jerked, best suited to medium-slow retrieves and quicker, more dynamic movements.
